Midge Nymphs are growing in importance, especially for anglers that fish tailwaters and spring creeks that have high numbers of these little bugs. Like Caddis flies, midges don't technically have a nymphal stage, just larva and pupa, but many anglers still refer to midge larva and midge pupa imitations as midge nymphs.
